CAMPUS OR PROGRAM SITE REGULATIONS

 

All students must adhere to SIIT policies and regulations.
Campus Directors or Site Coordinators may have additional information regarding services and regulations specific to their locations.

Library Services
Contact the Campus Director or Site Coordinator for access to library resources in your community. A resource centre is located on the 2nd floor at the Saskatoon Campus.

Parking
Students are responsible to access parking at their program locations. Contact your Campus Director or Site Coordinator for information on available parking in the vicinity.

Lockers
Most site locations are equipped with locks/lockers that are rented to students. Students are expected to use the lockers responsibly. SIIT will not be responsible for lost or stolen property of students at any of its locations.

Lost and Found
Each Campus or Program Site may have a designated area for lost and found items. Contact your Campus Director or Site Coordinator for information.

Fire Drill Procedures
Each Campus or Program Site has an Emergency Action Plan in place for its staff and students. Contact your Campus Director or Site Coordinator for information.

Student Leadership Council
Each Campus or Program Site may have a student leadership council. SIIT expects students representing the student body on this council to meet the following standards:

  • Maintain a minimum academic average of 60%.
  • Maintain a minimum of 90% attendance.
  • Maintain acceptable overall performance and conduct.
  • Be in good financial standing with SIIT.

Food and Drinks
Each Campus or Program Site will designate an eating area and define classroom regulations. Food or drinks are strictly prohibited where there are computers or laboratory equipment.

Maintenance and Upkeep of Premises
SIIT expects students to maintain a clean and safe environment.
